Running on week-day evenings and weekend mornings during term time, the Junior Climbing Club is a lively & fun place to learn to climb, with great opportunities to be performance coached to new heights.
Each junior climber is supported to their individual goals, and our experienced instructors will create activities and coaching that brings the group together in a fun, sociable and safe environment.
To help manage their progression and development, junior climbers work through NIBAS (National Indoor Bouldering Achievement Scheme) to Level 3. This is also the standard requirement to climb at any other climbing wall in the UK during public time. This NIBAS programme is put in place for individual members upon request and is an additional one-off cost of £6; please ask at the time of booking or speak with your instructor at the wall for more information.
We’re pleased to say that our junior clubs a super popular and young climbers often stay with us for many years.
This section of the page is for existing members and those coming off of the waiting list to book their space. Existing members may re-book the same time slot as last term. If you’re on the waiting list then please await instructions on when and how to book.
If you are looking to join the Junior Climbing Club for the first time then you must first register on the waiting list below.
Please be patient, the JCC is quite popular and as soon as a space becomes available we will let you know. This will generally take 1 or maybe even 2 terms.
Once your space is available we will let you know how to make your online consent and payment. Then you’re in – and that space is yours for as long as you like!
Once registered on the waiting list, you can always click here to check where your name is and how it’s moving forward. Please just note that lots of people register on the waiting list and then decline a space when it comes around, so you will move faster than you think. Typically, around 6 months, depending on the group you need.
