Having studied the foundations of yoga and its philosophy in India with the Ashiyana Yoga School, Millie now shares a practice of Hatha yoga.
Hatha is the yoga of force and merges the uplifting energy of sun (Ha) with the cool healing of moon (tha). Through pranayama (breathing exercises), meditation, cleansing techniques, and asana (posture), Hatha yoga aims to unite body, mind and breath in a state of pure consciousness. Millie’s classes encourage a connection with the body on a deeply intimate level, creating a gateway to intuitive and peaceful living.
Outside of teaching yoga, Millie can be found mostly outdoors – exploring and swimming with her lively pup, Pippi. She is also a dedicated teacher of music, flautist, and composer.
