Here at Boulder Shack we take looking after your data seriously, so in preparing for the GDPR update we have made a few changes.

Here are the changes we made:

  • Although you have always been able to request for your data to be deleted it was a tricky process , so we thought that we would make it easier for our staff to do this. Now if you ever want you data to be deleted and we can’t see why you would (as no data= no climb) then we can do effortlessly for you with one push of a button.
  • We have updated all of our forms so that all of the tick boxes start of blank and that you have to choose to tick them-‘tick or not to tick that is the question’.
  • Wording changed we have, sorry I mean we have changed the wording on our consent forms and in our fair and simple booking conditions so that it is clearer and easier for you to understand.

As a result we are now in line with Europe’s new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)  and just in time as if I remember correctly, didn’t we vote to leave Europe.

Hope to see you monkey’s at the centre soon.
