Events Coordinator job at Boulder Shack Southampton

Do you have what it takes to become the new Boulder Shack Events Coordinator? 

We’re sad to be saying “goodby” to Poppy; as a result, we have the opportunity for a new face to join our team.

We are a community-focused climbing gym that needs a highly motivated and dynamic person who wants to make some NOISE! Boulder shack events are loud, proud and an expression of our community! We want to expand the number and variety of events we run, but we need help making it all click. If you can think it, you can do it!

You will be responsible for:

  • Creation of a busy events schedule (we would like to run a significant event at least every month)
  • Providing professional Customer Service.
  • On the day management of any organised events.
  • Effective team leadership and development of employees in their event roles.
  • Working closely with our marketing team to ensure marketing is well specified!

Proposed Hourly Rate: £10-15 per hour (dependent on experience) 

Hours: 16 – 20 hours a week 

Position: Temporary 6 months (with potential to increase as required)

Shifts can include Evenings, Weekends and Bank Holidays.

Location: Boulder Shack Climbing Gym, Unit 4 Imperial Park, Empress Road, Southampton. SO14 0JW
