Don’t miss the chance to learn a lifesaving skill run by medical students from the University of Southampton!
Join us on Sunday 16th October, from 1:30pm – 4:30pm
As part of the global initiative, Restart a Heart Day, medical students from the University of Southampton are running a special pop-up session so climbers (and anyone visiting the centre) will have the opportunity to learn CPR.
The medical students will use CPR training models to raise awareness of cardiac arrest and teach how to perform safe CPR in just a few minutes!
Restart A Heart Day
In the UK, Restart A Heart is run by the Resuscitation Council in partnership with the British Heart Foundation and aims to increase the number of survivals from cardiac arrest in the community, by teaching as many members of the public as possible how to perform lifesaving CPR safely and effectively.
In 2019 alone, 291,000 people were trained in CPR through Restart A Heart Day!
Learn lifesaving skills for free
This is a free session and there is no need to pre-book.
Simply turn up on Sunday 16th October between 1:30pm and 4:30pm and learn some essential lifesaving skills!
Also, did you know that Boulder Shack has a defibrillator on site and nearly all staff are highly trained in emergency first aid?
